It has been sitting for almost two months now, on a battery tender, so it cranks over easily. But I don't hear the fuel pump start up -- it's loud so it can't be missed.

OldRider. 95 posts The engine is rubber mounted so the majority of the shock waves are absorbed in the rubber mounts rather than absorbed into the frame. HD wouldn't do it because: 1- It's too expensive. 2- Since when have they been bothered about saving weight. 3- It requires different handling and welding etc
